  7. What if my customer has concerns about giving out their check information?

1. Is there a set up charge?
No there is not a set up charge. We do not charge maintenance fees, monthly minimums or have any other hidden fees as with other companies. We may ask for a deposit against your first months' activities or charges. This is a fully refundable deposit. We feel that you should not pay toan account.

2. How much does your service cost?
Almost all of our pricing is on our pricing page. These prices are guidelines and are not cast in stone. Each business is evaluated and a final price is included in your agreement. For online check processing there is a nominal cost to design your order page. This is priced by the complexity and quantity of items sold from your site. If you only have a few items, it will be around $99.00. If you have many, it will be more. Our minimum charge is $99.00.

3. When and how fast do I receive my money?
Online payments are normally deposited within 72 hours after the order is placed. This is for paper drafts and you will have to wait for about a week before you know if it bounced. We can find out if the check is good in about 48 hours on all electronic debits. On electronic debits, you receive the actual money in about a week. All NSF checks collected are paid weekly. Monthly bank drafts are normally deposited within 48 hours after the draft date. Once again, you will have to wait about a week before you know if it has bounced.

4. How often am I billed?
You are billed bi-monthly for all check transactions online and monthly bank drafts. You are never billed for NSF checks recovered electronically. The check writer pays for the NSF check fee as allowed by state law. All other services are billed bi-monthly. All necessary reports are generated at billing free of charge.

5. What do banks think?
Since paper and electronic drafts are perfectly legal your bank must accept the drafts and the deposit.

6. Can companies out side of the U.S. use this program?
At the present time most countries do not have banking guidelines in place for the online check payments or bank drafts. We recommend using our program for processing checks for banks in the USA and its possessions. We only collect NSF in these areas. We have heard of other countries with banking regulations in place but we make no guarantees as to it! We only work with US Banks.

7.What if my customer has concerns about giving out their check information?
Explain that you would have the same information if they mailed you a check. Also explain the no information is kept on the server as with other types of credit card orders. Every time an order is placed, the information must be entered again. This may cause some inconvenience but we believe security is well worth the inconvenience. Taking checks online is really no different than accepting a credit card over the phone. No signature is required for a phone in credit card order. The customer knows he will only be charged for what he has ordered or the business that takes the order would be breaking the law. The same theory applies to bank drafts. The business can only legally create a draft for the amount that has been authorized by the customer. As more and more people find out about taking checks online to place an order and use it, the more it will be accepted. Once the public gets over the uniqueness of the idea, they will find it really makes a whole lot of sense.
